History
Injeniero was born in 2023 as a result of our obsession with making ultra-fast and optimized sites on one hand while the increasing interest (and need) from the industry side for sustainability became prominent.
The founders of Injeniero combined their previous experience in startups, consulting, and software engineering to provide exceptional service superior to typical agency alternatives, maximizing commercial benefits for clients without polluting others with sustainable prices.
Engineer with J
Injeniero was founded by former Engineers from University of Chile.
In the past (two centuries ago) in Latin América, “Engineering” was written in spanish as “Injeniería” using ‘j’ instead of modern ‘g’ (”Ingeniería). That fact is reflected in the old engineering building at University of Chile in Santiago. When the spanish writing style for word “Injeniería” changed to lowercase ‘g’ “Ingeniería”, the name of that building had to be updated. However, to maintain tradition, this later became “Injeniería” with J again. So engineer or “ingeniero” in modern spanish becomes “injeniero” with ‘j’ as a brand of high quality engineering.

Injeniero has a remote team in Santiago, São Paulo and Hamburg, servicing clients across Chile, Brazil, the United States, and Europe. We speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and some German. We work synchronously within time zones UTC -3 to UTC -5 and asynchronously with 24-hour response times.
